If it cost you $1 to get a client who buys a product making you a profit of $1, it's NOT break even unless you have nothing else you can sell that client, ever again. Once you have a client, repeat business, upsells, addons, etc. can increase your profit. And you if make $1.01 for every $1 you spend, repeat until wealthy.
