I always hand-write a thank you note to every new customer who comes on board, If it is my customer or if it is the customer of one of my employees (always good to get a note from your reps boss - promising great service and telling who they can contact no matter what!). The one thing I could not believe is that the company I work for never thought of doing such a simple thing and that there are so many companies out there that do not realize the positive benefit of this system. Sometimes people assume that the simple or the corny or the cheesy things are of no use – I have come to realize that those three things are usually a key sign that it is a good idea!
